Description:
Fresh wetland dominated by dead Bald Cypress snags and emergent herbaceous ground cover of Scirpus spp. and Spartina patens.

Conditions: Wetland appears to be getting fresher (less salty than previous image of 7/30/2012, with less Spartina patens present, and several young Bald Cypress growing. Also, the foreted wetland seems to be getting drier with more Scrub-shrub Baccharis.
